How do we work?
Our work is based on recognized, effective therapeutic approaches used in addiction treatment.
In practice this means:
- regular group therapy,
- individual sessions,
- educational meetings on addiction and relapse,
- work on emotions, stress and relationships,
- support for families (consultations).
We put strong emphasis on learning to cope with cravings, emotions and triggers, and on building a new, sober lifestyle.

Do I need a referral to Dobre Miejsce in Opole?
No. We admit patients privately, without a referral and without waiting lists. We work 24/7 and offer a high standard of stay. In most cases we can admit a patient the same day.
Is the stay confidential?
Yes. We guarantee full confidentiality and personal data protection. Sick leave for the entire stay is issued without a diagnosis or the name of the center. On the electronic sick note (e-ZLA) the employer receives only:
- the period of leave,
- information that the employee is unfit for work,
- instructions for the leave (e.g. bed rest / may walk),
but no information about the illness, addiction or place of treatment.
The disease code and medical details are protected by medical confidentiality.
Can my family take part in the treatment?
Yes. The patient’s loved ones can take part in selected parts of therapy and in consultations after treatment ends.
How long does therapy last?

Yes, you can use a laptop, e.g. for work, and smoke cigarettes in designated areas.
We provide full board, plus billiards, table tennis and a large, beautiful garden where you can unwind. Patients often simply mention the great atmosphere and feeling of safety. Former patients often come back to visit us socially after therapy.
